Lovely trip to RSPB Old Moor today (http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/d/dearne-oldmoor/). Firstly, we saw a Reed Bunting which we’d not seen before. Secondly, the Bitterns are breeding (very rare!!!) and so part of the site was shut off to protect them.

Lots of swifts flying around catching insects and it chucked it down half way round but luckily we were in a hide at the time. Very atmospheric though!

Had a cracking lunch in the cafe, and feel very relaxed now!! Photos below.
