Lovely day on the east coast of Jersey, which compared to yesterday’s downpours was most welcome. A chilly breeze from the sea but still nice to be out.
Intended to go to St Helier’s church this morning but the 10.30 service actually started at 10.00 so we were late. Never mind, may try Grouville church next week.
So, after a wander and coffee in St Helier, we had lunch and walked into the nearest village/town which is Gorey. Gorey is the home of Mont Orgueil Castle which we will visit in the coming days. A pleasant walk, admiring some big houses and our first Jersey ice cream! These piccies are from the walk:
