We normally visit in the winter for Christmas opening but as we didn’t get then because of the snow, we decided to do the whole thing in one day. We’d not been in the house for a while and the new Duke has made some renovations, opened some sections we’d not been in before and introduced new art. It is great that the change at Chatsworth is continuing and because of this it was a fascinating day out. We also for the first time did an audio tour, which was very informative and even more-so because the Duke and Duchess actually talk on it about specific parts of the house.
