Had a lovely day in Winchester. Visited Cathedral, old Bishop’s palace (new one isn’t much smaller!) There is also a rather splendid flour water mill which has recently been restored.
The redirected river pours past the wheel which through a gear system, turns the stones. Otters are also seen and captured. The chalk water is extremely clean.
Huggie was tired after his trip to Portsmouth yesterday so didn’t go!
